第二届可植入神经假体国际研讨会
The 2nd International Conference on Neuroprosthetic Devices (ICNPD 2010) will be held in Beijing, China on February 27-28, 2010. Following the successful first conference in Taiwan in March 2009, this conference will continue bringing together the top world scientists and providing a forum for establishing and enhancing academic collaboration in Neuroprosthetic Devices. The conference will cover several key areas in the neuroprosthetic development, such as visual and hearing sensory prostheses, sensorimotor prostheses for overcoming muscle paralysis, and deep brain stimulation for treatment of Parkinson’s disease and epilepsy. In addition, the conference will highlight the latest developments in the neural prosthesis technology, such as the microelectrode fabrication, conductive nanomaterials, biocompatible coating and implantaiton, signal processing, and data and power telemetry.
Participation by researchers in all stages of their careers, from students to senior researchers, is strongly encouraged.
The conference timing coincides with the famous Chinese Lantern Festival (Feb. 28, 2010), providing you with an opportunity to observe and enjoy such attributes of traditional Chinese culture as Lovely Lanterns and Sweet Dumplings.
We look forward to seeing you in Beijing at ICNPD 2010.
